Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SnapDash application and website (together, the “Service”), provided by SnapDash(“we,” “us”). By installing the SnapDash app on your Shopify store or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

SnapDash is an analytics, reporting, and automation dashboard for Shopify merchants. Once you connect your Shopify store, SnapDash syncs your orders, products, and customers to provide real-time KPIs, automatic RFM customer segmentation, custom drag-and-drop dashboards, a report builder with template and export options, trigger-based automation rules, and goal (OKR) tracking.

2. Free Access

SnapDash is currently offered free of charge to all Shopify merchants during our public launch, with no credit card required. We may introduce paid plans or usage limits in the future; if we do, we will provide advance notice before any change affects your account, and continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the Shopify store you connect to SnapDash.

4. Shopify Integration & Permissions

By connecting your Shopify store, you authorize SnapDash to access your store data through Shopify's official Admin API, limited to the scopes required to provide the features described in Section 1. Your use of SnapDash remains subject to Shopify's own terms of service and acceptable use policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law.
  • Use automated means to scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service.
  • Use automation rules (email, webhooks, tagging) to send spam or deceptive communications.

6. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your own store data), is owned by SnapDash and protected by intellectual property laws. The merchant remains the sole owner and controller of all Shopify store data. SnapDash acts only as a service provider processing such data on behalf of the merchant.

Customer personal data (including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and order information) is processed solely for providing analytics, reporting, customer segmentation, automation, and dashboard functionality requested by the merchant. SnapDash does not sell or use customer personal data for advertising or unrelated purposes. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reports, forecasts, or automated actions will be free of inaccuracies arising from your underlying Shopify data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapDash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the Service or other users.

10. Data Retention

SnapDash retains merchant and customer data only for as long as necessary to provide analytics, reporting, and automation features. When a merchant uninstalls the app or requests deletion, customer data is securely deleted within a reasonable period unless retention is required by applicable law. Merchants may request deletion of stored data at any time by contacting support@snapdash.io.

11. Data Protection

SnapDash processes only the minimum personal data necessary to provide the requested functionality. Customer data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only and protected using industry-standard security measures.

12. Security

SnapDash applies industry-standard security measures, including encrypted transmission (TLS/HTTPS), restricted access controls, and secure infrastructure to protect merchant and customer data.

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable advance notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
